Frasers Property and Tan & Tan to jointly develop 5.15ha mixed-use site in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia
Flaunting a triple-frontage at a vital junction of Jalan Kemajuan and Jalan Profesor Diraja Ungku Aziz, the mixed-use project is a short ride from a number of retail and recreational amenities, consisting of 3 Damansara, Jaya Shopping Centre, Retail @ Pacific, Mid Valley Megamall and The Gardens Shopping mall.
Two well-known universities– Universiti Malaya and International Islamic College Malaysia– are also inside a 1km radius of the site. The mixed-use development will also experience connectivity to the Greater Klang Valley through major highways like the Federal Highway and Sprint Expressway.
Frasers Property are going to be mutually creating a 5.15 ha mixed-use place in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, with Malaysian property developer Tan & Tan Developments Berhad.
” Drawing on our mixed experiences in large, mixed-use property developments, we aim to set a new benchmark for lively city living in the area,” said Soon Su Lin, CEO of Frasers Property Singapore.
The joint business venture partners will each hold an equal stake in the job, known as PJ Quarter.
Meanwhile, the retail component will take the kind of a low-rise, al fresco lifestyle venue with integrated community and public places.
Found in Section 13 of Petaling Jaya, the master-planned precinct is pictured as a lifestyle location that will secure the continuous rejuvenation of the location, according to a joint news release issued on Aug 21.
Tan Yee Seng, CEO of Tan & Tan, stated, “The site is going to take advantage of the federal government’s efforts to renew Section 13 right into an even more liveable and dynamic hub with environment-friendly connectors and pedestrian-friendly infrastructure. We look forward to presenting novel retail experiences to the community, matched by a high end housing development made to appeal to a wide range of buyers.”
” It stands for a purposeful step in developing our development portfolio, through a disciplined, partnership-led strategy, concentrated on creating value for the long-term.”
The site will be developed in 2 phases, with the initial phase presenting non commercial property developments together with retail space and a park. Developed for families and working specialists, the homes are expected to be launched for purchase following year.
