Co-living brand Coliwoo launches new mixed-use project at Old Bukit Timah Fire Station
General resident facilities include an area yard, a co-working room, a lobby and an outdoor room. Coliwoo also intends to arrange regular member-exclusive events at the brand-new area that will be open to all locals in its organization.
“Beyond producing a place to stay, our vision is to build a lasting and vibrant community where people can gather, grow and experience a new method of mindful living that’s rooted in purpose and attached to nature,” adds Lim.
Coliwoo Bukit Timah Fire Station will even be a lifestyle spot around the Rail Corridor, and the nearby entrance point is around Hindhede Walk. The site will also be pet-friendly with several child-friendly areas. The co-living operator will organize public events such as craftsmen markets and workshops, going well with a lessee blend that consists of metropolitan farming, beer making, a swimming program and experiential retailers. Confirmed tenants consist of ST. Ali by Surrey Hills Group and aquaDucks, a swim academy.
“Leveraging our core strengths in spot optimisation and property repair, we have actually reimagined the Old Bukit Timah Fire Station into a distinctive venue that effortlessly integrates co-living, lifestyle and area into a holistic ecosystem,” says Kelvin Lim, executive chairman of LHN and owner of Coliwoo.
The State-owned heritage property has been shifted as a mixed-use development with a 62-unit co-living household by Coliwoo, a coffee shop and restaurant, as well as community event spaces. It is positioned near Hume MRT Station on the Downtown Line.
Coliwoo claims the average month-to-month rental rate starts from $3,500, and the serviced condominium has a minimum stay of six evenings.
Homegrown co-living brand Coliwoo, a subsidiary of realty management services group LHN, is set to open up its most recent property next month at the spot of the Old Bukit Timah Fire Station, located at 260 Upper Bukit Timah Roadway.
The co-living residency makes up three ensuite room types with one-, double-, and queen-studios. All unit includes in-room facilities such as a totally equipped kitchen space and a washer-cum-dryer. Interiors are styled in cozy, nature-inspired tones with botanical motifs, showing the site’s close proximity to eco-friendly spots like the 24km Rail Corridor, Bukit Timah Nature Reserve and Singapore’s 36km Coast-to-Coast Central Trail.
