Hyatt Hotels to open nearly 90 new luxury and lifestyle hotels across Asia Pacific

Following Hyatt’s purchase of Standard International in 2024, the team will also present The Standard, Pattaya Na Jomtien. The hotel is readied to establish in 3Q2025, and will feature a 60s-inspired beach club aesthetic.

On the other hand, Hyatt’s Andaz company will introduce Andaz Gold Coast, an integrated resort in Australia, and Andaz One Bangkok, which are going to be located in Lumphini Park inside the One Bangkok development. In Shanghai, the brand will also add a 2nd property with the opening of Andaz Shanghai ITC later this year.

The expansion begins the back of the growing demand for the luxury travel industry within Asia Pacific. According to the group, 64% of Hyatt’s Asia Pacific selection makes up luxury and upper-upscale lodgings and hotels.

Looking ahead, the group is going to introduce Park Hyatt Phu Quoc, the initial Park Hyatt hotel in Vietnam, that is anticipated to open in 1Q2026. Covering 160 acres of land, the resort lies just a 30-minute drive from Phu Quoc International Airport. Hotel centers are set to feature two dining shops, a bar, a pool side barbeque, two pool, a lakeside spa, and a fitness center place with a lap pool.

This is expected to follow along with considerable new entries and growth for Andaz, The Standard and Park Hyatt brands throughout primary places such as Thailand, Malaysia and Australia.

Hyatt Hotels Company has recently announced its strategies to increase the firm’s luxury and way of living label portfolios throughout Asia Pacific. Over the next 5 years, Hyatt plans to establish just about 90 real estates, which include the debut of the Thompson Hotels brand name in the area.

The Thompson Hotels label, that originated in Manhattan, is projected to make its Asia Pacific launch with Thomspon Shanghai Expo, which is arranged to open in 4Q2025. Influenced by the city’s commercial origins and cosmopolitan energy, the resort is readied to feature social experiences along with a roof with actual entertainment and several occasions.

Ever since 2017, the group has also doubled the amount of high-end rooms, tripled its resort suites, and grown its lifestyle rooms five-fold globally. Carina Chorengel, chief vice president of commercial real estates in Asia Pacific at Hyatt, notes that luxury today focuses on providing authentic and exceptional experiences. “Our recently improved company architecture and expansion in luxury and lifestyle profiles enable us to cater to discerning vacationers with focus and distinction.”
